Every week during the growning season BFM provides a bountiful
assortment of local fresh picked fruits and vegetables. BFM has tailored a unique CSA program which, compared to other
CSA's gives the consumer a great deal more variety at a more affordable price. Affordability: Most CSA's require payment in
full for one long season of produce prohibiting many families to participate. Our CSA breaks one long season into 3
season: spring, summer, and fall. Families can choose one or all three, but only pay for one season at a time. Variety: Many CSA's
only include vegetables in their boxes. BFM has the advantage of not just providing fresh vegetables from our great
farmers, but has an entire network of local small family fruit orchards. The overall growing
season will be divided into 3 shorter 8 week seasons: Spring
- May 20, 2009 to July 8, 2009 Summer- July 15 to September
2, 2009 Fall - September 9, 2009 to October 28, 2009 The cost
is $200 per 8 week season and serves approx. 4-5 people. All members will have the opportunity in participating
in as few or as many seasons as they like.
